It was summer 2015. It was college night at the local line dancing bar. Blake was with his sister Aubree and her friends, Savannah was with her best friend (now maid of honor) Avana. Blake approached Savannah asking if she wanted to dance. It took some convincing before she acquiesced. They spent the whole night talking  and the rest of the summer dating. They had plans to go their separate ways while Savannah transferred to college in Los Angeles and Blake was playing in North Dakota. The night before they were both leaving they had what they thought was their last date. On their way home from Santa Monica it was almost midnight, the freeway was pitch black and there was construction. All lanes were merged into one and the only lane had a car crash in it with the cars not having turned their lights on. Blake and Savannah ended up hitting the crash going 70mph with the cars behind crashing in as well (everyone was okay!). It was that moment that made them realize how much they meant to each other and almost 9 years later they're getting married!
